BMW coding services in Blackburn, and remotely across the UK.
Everything we code, in five groups. What's possible depends on your car, so we check before anything is booked.
Services
Remote engine start
Start it from the key or the MyBMW app.
The centre button on your key three times to turn it on, three times to turn it off. Or the MyBMW app, on cars that support it. Coded in person in Blackburn, or remotely wherever your car is.
Pre-LCI models built before iDrive 7 don't natively support it. Send your reg and we'll confirm. Made for your drive: on a public road, the Highway Code says a parked car must not be left unattended with its engine running (rule 123).
Coding and hidden features
Make the car work the way you want it to.
Available features depend on your car. On an M5 Competition, for one owner: auto start/stop that remembers the last setting, and heated seats that no longer switch on by themselves.
ALPINA, CS, CSL and GTS flashes
Factory software that changes how compatible BMWs drive.
530BHPG87 M2, from 453
650NMG87 M2, from 550
530BHPG81 M3 Touring, from 510
Figures from our flashes. Depending on the car and software, a flash can change throttle response, gear changes and steering.
CarPlay, retrofits and conversions
New equipment and imports, coded to work with your car.
Adding a camera, changing a head unit or upgrading the headlights? We code compatible equipment so it works properly, and convert Japanese and US imports to UK spec.
Diagnostics, software and records
Find the real fault before anything gets replaced.
An F30 330d's iDrive kept showing "No Signal". The cause was a failing battery dropping to 9 to 10 volts. A new battery, registered to the car, and zero fault codes left.

Questions people ask first
Can you code my car remotely?
Some work can be done remotely with an ENET cable and a suitable computer. Send your model, year and the features you want first. We confirm the equipment before you buy a cable, then guide you through connecting at your appointment.
Is coding safe for my car?
We use specialist BMW software, check the car before any work and only carry out supported changes. If something needs more assessment, we tell you before going ahead.
Will coding affect my warranty?
Manufacturers set their own warranty terms. If your car is still under warranty, say so when you get in touch and we'll talk through what's sensible before any work begins.
Can I bring my car to you, or can you come to me?
Bring it to us in Blackburn by arrangement, or we can visit you across Lancashire, Greater Manchester and the wider North West. Further away, suitable coding can be done in a remote session.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
Both depend on the car and the work. Send your reg and what you'd like, and we confirm the price and session length before booking.
Can it be reversed?
Some coding changes can be returned to their original settings. We explain what can be restored before we start.
Not sure what your car supports?
Send the reg and what you'd like done. We check before you commit.
